Research gaps
-
Wilderness Society Tasmania: Lee’s tightening notes identified this organisation as a potential connection. No primary source consulted for this biography documents a formal role for Whish-Wilson with the Wilderness Society Tasmania. The connection may exist but could not be substantiated from the sources found. Flagged for Cowork.
-
Triple M Hobart radio interview (day after 27 October 2021 Senate Estimates): Secondary sources (source 16) reference a radio interview in which Whish-Wilson described a friend’s encounter with a “tic-tac” shaped object during a military exercise. The primary audio recording was not located. Per CLAUDE.md sourcing rules, the personal blog citation is insufficient. The anecdote has been excluded from the biography. If the primary Triple M archive recording is located, the anecdote may be restored with proper attribution.
-
University of Tasmania institutional records: The environmental finance course details are sourced to the New Matilda profile (source 7) which quotes the course description. Direct institutional records from the University of Tasmania’s School of Business and Economics were not independently located. Flagged for Cowork if higher-provenance sourcing is desired.
-
Tasmanian Times description (“an excellent local candidate”): Referenced in the New Matilda profile (source 7) regarding Whish-Wilson’s 2009 Legislative Council bid. The original Tasmanian Times article was not independently located. The characterisation is attributed to New Matilda’s reporting. Flagged for Cowork.
