History
SearchLites was the newsletter of the SETI League, published from Little Ferry, New Jersey from 1995 to 2006. The SETI League was a grassroots organisation that coordinated amateur radio astronomers conducting their own Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence observations. Contributors included Poul Anderson (science fiction author), Mike Cook, David Little, and Kathryn Denning. The newsletter carried FFTDSP (Fast Fourier Transform Digital Signal Processing) technical updates, "Ask Dr. SETI" columns, and reports on the organisation's growing network of amateur observation stations.
