Christopher Sharp

Christopher Sharp is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Liberation Times, a London-based investigative journalism outlet that publishes extensively on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena and the international politics of disclosure. He is also a senior contributing journalist at the Daily Mail. His background is in communications, and he has built Liberation Times into one of the small handful of independent outlets reliably breaking original UAP stories at the international level.

Sharp's reporting cycles repeatedly between Washington DC and London, drawing on sources inside the US Department of Defense, the AARO leadership lineage, congressional staff, and the UK Ministry of Defence FOI record. His hit-rate on exclusives is high enough that the major US-based UAP journalists treat him as a peer rather than a regional voice.

Sharp's most consequential reporting to date is the exclusive interview with former AARO Deputy Director Tim Phillips, in which Phillips confirmed for the first time on the public record that AARO had detected UAPs operating in space, with some demonstrating "signature management" behaviour (actively avoiding detection over sensitive military locations). Phillips also confirmed AARO had identified 40 to 50 cases of UAP showing capabilities the best aerospace engineers could not explain. The interview led to a series of additional disclosures and, eight days after ODNI counter-intelligence ordered Phillips to stop, his termination from federal service.

Sharp has also reported the ODNI-overseen UAP investigation that came under scrutiny over alleged whistleblower intimidation, false allegations, and efforts to discredit those who came forward. He confirmed via a Pentagon official that the DoD's UAP office was working with the White House and federal agencies to prepare the release of previously unseen UAP material, threading into the PURSUE document release programme that subsequently launched.
